It is Tuesday, April 21, 2015 – Google has released sweeping changes to its search algorithm, giving mobile friendly websites a boost on mobile devices. Google is going to ding your website if it does not adjust for smaller screens. This algorithm change will only affect smartphones, leaving desktops, laptops and tablets unchanged, guess what 50% of all Google searches are completed on a mobile devices.

 Many bloggers and website administrators have been talking about this change since February when Google announced the change, allow businesses time to get ready. Google controls two-thirds of the U.S. search market, leaving companies to scramble to re-optimize their websites.
